Alecs has played a variety of sports growing up, but her passion throughout highschool and university was taekwondo: in which she competed, coached, and instructed classes. She has always wanted to work in the healthcare field and share her other passion: the positive effects that movement and exercise have on people. Through one of her coaches, Alecs was introduced to athletic therapy and finally found the right career path.

Alecs experienced working with a variety of sports during her degree, including highschool football, highschool rugby, Men’s and Women’s Premier rugby leagues, MMSL soccer, and AAA hockey.

Current:

She is currently working at Revolution Rehab as an athletic therapist and is taking on new clients, including MPI and WCB claims. She works with a variety of clients, from competitive athletes, non-athletes, industrial workers, office workers, and anyone who has been in a workplace or car accident. You may also see her in the clinic throughout the week, as she is also working as Revolution’s Office Manager.

History:

Since I was young I have always loved sports and movement. I’ve always been drawn to sports like soccer, volleyball, rugby, and ultimate frisbee. Sports are one of my favorite ways of meeting new people and forming connections. My passion for movement and meeting new people led me to pursue physiotherapy where I could make an impact on people’s lives by helping them move and feel their best.

Current:

I am now working at Revolution Rehab, which has a small homey like atmosphere that provides you with the most unique care that is personalized to you. I am excited to work with clients of all ages and skill levels in a 1 on 1 treatment style. In our session, we will work collaborative to create the best treatment plan that suits your needs and getting you back to doing what you love.

My style of assessing and treatment searches for the root cause of your aches and pains so that you don’t need to continue coming back for the same issue. On top of that I strive to empower my patients so they can take control of their aches and pains.

Outside of the clinic, I am an avid cook trying to perfect my craft. If I’m not doing that then I am likely outside going on a hike, camping, playing disc golf, or walking my dog.

Quirks:
